Butterflies in Lalbagh

On a Nature walk, we noticed hundreds of butterflies gathered on a Copper Pod tree (Peltophorum sp.). The species included Double-Branded Crows (Euploea sylvester), Striped Tigers (Danaus genutia) and Blue Tigers (Tirumala sp.). All these butterflies belong to Danainae sub-family of Nymphalids.
